Coal Creek Canyon Park and Recreation District

Master Plan

The Coal Creek Canyon Park & Recreation District (CCCPRD or "The District") will be contracting with a consulting firm to provide professional services to the District to develop a Park and Recreation Master Plan. The project is being funded through a Planning Grant from Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO). The plan will create a roadmap for ensuring an appropriate balance of recreation amenities throughout the community now and into the future by evaluating potential parks, open space, trails and recreational facilities and amenities.

A steering committee comprised of Coal Creek Canyon residents was formed to guide the direction of the Master Plan project. The committee's first task was to evaluate a number of consultants responding to the District's RFP and submit to the Board a recommendation for hiring a consultant. The Board is expected to vote on a resolution selecting the Master Plan consultant at the September 1st meeting.
